WorldSmart: Dates
It is important to know how to format date conventions when you are coding
online forms. Use unambiguous dates on your web pages: Always use a four-digit number
for the year (human readers don't have problems with the year 2000
wrap-around, but this makes clear which one is the year) Always use
words (abbreviated if necessary) for the months. For forms, use structured
dates and popup menus.
Example: October 15, 2009 (US format). This date was a Thursday.
